EVERYTHING is within walking distance! Try North Beach for Italian stuff, China Town for the obvious China stuff, go to the wharf for all kinds of action. And if it seems too far to walk, take a cable car. They are all over the place. And cheap.

the tickets are $ 33 +shipping if you get them online. you can also buy them and pick them up at will call the day of for no extra charge. thats the best idea. remember to get there early. if you are unable to get a ticket they will have some at the door at a higher price.

I have friends from CHICAGO visiting on Monday. I plan to bring them to San Francisco downtown (only) for a tour and I plan to bring a car. Do you have any DRIVE ROUTE suggestion in downtown SFO so I can maximize my driving time? We plan to go to Golden Gate, Chinatown, Pier 39, North Beach, Japanese Town, North Beach, Lombard, Palace of the Fine Arts…..etc. I’ve been to these places but I cannot formulate a driving plan so I can go to all these places in one time without wasting my time/gas. The tour estimated for 4 hrs only.
