Question by grace g: Can I apply the arrival visa in Vietnam without apply this in advance?
I bought a ticket on 7th May and cannot change flight. Change flight is expesnive than to buy the new air ticket. I forget to apply visa. How ????
There is no time for me to apply the arrival visa in advance here in Singapore. I do not have any advance approval number for arrival visa. Can I apply this after I reach Vietnam airport provided the air line can allow me to get in the flight.
I am not sure the air line will let me get on flight or not. If I go to Vietnam and they do not allow to get into their country. I need to buy the air ticket back . WIl it be a risk to me.

When I flew to Vietnam I could not enter without a visa. Something i was told 2 days before my flight. I got my visa in time luckily.
Things could’ve changed between then and now it was a couple of years ago.

There’s the usual variety of museums, lots of art museums that are cool, try the natural history museum thats one of the best museums!! You can also see the Lincoln monument and national monument. Most of the museums are free so I would suggest lot of those, think American Indian museum ect.

Lots of life changes. How will this effect our taxes?

Question by : Lots of life changes. How will this effect our taxes?
Last year was absolutely crazy. Now it’s time to file taxes, and I was wondering how it will effect that (different deductions, paying different state taxes, etc). So, I got out of college at the end of 2010, and moved in with my (then) fiancee. He got a good job offer, so we moved from Arkansas to New York state so he could work out of northern Pennsylvania. We had to pay for a hotel for the first few weeks before we got a place. I kept a lot of the receipts just in case we needed them. We got married in September. I haven’t gotten my new social security card or driver’s license yet. We’re filing jointly, this Saturday. I was just wondering how all of this will play into our taxes. Can we get a deduction for having to move so far and for paying $ 400 a week for that hotel? Will we need to pay into NY taxes since only PA taxes are taken out of his checks? Any good help would be very much appreciated.

You will get the moving for a job as a deduction. Depending on state and income made you might also have a state tax. Save receipts to make sure the process goes smooth. Claim everything and good luck

Question by Rene M: Going to singapore this May. 3 adults, 3 children ages 17, 13 and 9…where to stay?
i sure would like to find a hotel with a family room, if not take two regular rooms. my budget is around US$ 150 per night for both rooms total. would like location to be near an MRT station. ive taken a look at new 7th storey and strand. like new 7th storey better cuz of the location but still would like to find more options for me and my family.
my budget is only S$ 200 total every night for both rooms or a single family room
nobody seems to be looking at my budget, the hotels you’re recommending are way above my budget of around $ 75/rm per night
whats the name of the hotel with this number? Tel: +65-6445 0267

Try Hotel Phonenix at Orchard Road just next to Somerset MRT. Very nice hotel, clean room with exercise equipment if you book Super Deluxe. Great location. Stayed at this hotel every time I come to Singapore on my weekly trips.

We want to vacation in Washington DC this winter, and be there for snow…which weeks of which months are best?

Question by Bryan I: We want to vacation in Washington DC this winter, and be there for snow…which weeks of which months are best?
Best answer:
Answer by DC Bob
We have no week that is guarantee of snow.
The best thing you can do is look at the average for the past 10 years, and then apply a wild guess, and my guess will be the month of February.
This is my help from Washington, D.C. United States of America.

Question by jayjaytoe: Does anybody know where the San Francisco fireworks are taking place this year, 2007?
Where are the fireworks taking place? I heard it was either Embarcadero or Fisherman’s Wharf.

I don’t know how to get to any of these places but it might be helpful to you. “If you are in San Francisco the best place might be near the top of Nob Hill. Down by the waterfront will be another good spot. The green out by the Presidio will of course be a favorite and most of the locals will be heading there.”
Have fun

Q&A: San Francisco residents, where was this movie scene filmed?

Question by Dances With Mops: San Francisco residents, where was this movie scene filmed?
In Roger Moore’s last outing as James Bond, “A View To A Kill,” there is a scene in which he steals a fire engine and allegedly jumps it over an open drawbridge (not-so-smooth editing). The SFPD tries to follow him, but loses half their patrol fleet in the process. Where was this drawbridge?
Also, are there any organized tours of famous movie settings in San Francisco? I know that there have been scores of films made there.
AJ- How did I know that you could come up with those links?

You shouldn’t visit the IMAX in New Orleans. It is nice, but it’s a waste of time if you’ve ever been to a movie theater. But as long as your gettung early starts you should be able to visit all the places you want to see.

We are planning a vacation to Washington DC this summer. Being from Maine, I know nothing about the area.?

Question by Mrs J: We are planning a vacation to Washington DC this summer. Being from Maine, I know nothing about the area.?
I’m hoping there is someone out there who does. Right now we are planning to take a bus from here to there. Now how would I get from the bus station to the motel? Are there busses that run around town?
Best answer:
Answer by Mc Duff
buse or cabs — just like the big city —- You’ll want to allow a lot
of time for the Smithsonian. Then within walking distance on the
mall you’ll find the National Archives, short distance from there
is the white house, senate,:Lincoln, Jefferson, and Washington
Memorial. Then take a step or two over to Arlington to pay respects
and visit Kennedy’s eternal flame. A taxi/bus ride will get you
out to the National Zoo with the Panda’s n stuff. Been a few years
since I was there last so don’t remember night spots – sorry
