Question by i<3?: What are some of the best shops and restaurants in New York?
I’m going to New York on Friday, and I’ve never been before. I’m so excited! What are some of the good shops and restaurants? I’m staying in the Sheraton on Seventh Avenue.

try as much as you can just to wander around and find cute unique little places, that’s half the fun of eating in New York!
but if you’re looking for some inspiration, here are some of my favorites:
Rice to Riches -http://www.ricetoriches.com/index.2.php
an adorable place down in the village with all different crazy flavors of rice pudding!

also, Alice’s Tea Cup!
they have a huge selection of breakfast foods from delicious fresh scones (different flavors every day!) to creative varieties of pancakes and AMAZING soaked french toast!

there are 3 locations scattered about… check it out! they also have muffins, scones and cakes to go if you’re not in the mood for a sit-down stop.

Are there any shops that sell Johnny’s Entertainment stuff in Singapore?

Question by muffy25897: Are there any shops that sell Johnny’s Entertainment stuff in Singapore?
We’ll be staying in a hotel near Orchard Road which I know is a very popular shopping place so are there any shops which would sell Johnnys’s stuff? CD’s, DVD’s, posters, or magazines, they’re all fine. I just want a chance to be able to find some Johnny’s stuff since there are no shops near where I live. Thank you!

Union Square is probably the best place to stay, because it is centrally located with lots of public transportation options and within walking distance of most of the tourist areas. There are lots of good restaurants, shops, theaters and clubs in the Union Square area. The downside being that parking in that area will be expensive as most hotels charge $ 25 or more for daily parking. You may also want to consider staying in the Marina as parking is free and you are near Cow Hollow and Chestnut street both of which draw lots of party folks to the bars and restaurants.

Joie de Vivre Hospitality has several hotels in the the city in different price points. The hotels closest to Union Square are the Rex, Adagio, Galleria Park, Petite Auberge, and White Swan. None are right on Union Square but all are within two blocks of it. You may also want to check out the Del Sol which is located between Cow Hollow and Chestnut Street just off Lombard.
