Question by rah rah: is there a public transport service from San Francisco airport to Union Square, SF?
My friend and I will be visiting SF in a couple of weeks and we can’t wait. Neither of us has been before, and will be flying in at separate times. It would be great to know if there is a reliable shuttle, or bus system to get into the city center

There is free shuttle( #10 bus)from airport to Caltrain station( Santa Clara), then you can take bus #522 or 22( $ 1.75, 45min) or take train ($ 4, 25min)

I’m asking because my hotel is offering this service. Go Lorrie’s Airport Shuttle cost 39 $ . How much would a Taxi cost? Where is the difference?

Does anyone know of a taxi company in Washington DC that has 24 hour service on a weekday? I just moved to DC and gotta get to the airport at 3 am on a Wednesday morning and I’m not sure if there are any taxis that would pick me up.

Taxis are available 24 hours a day. You can typically hail a cab on the street, even in the very early morning. However, if you want to make sure a cab is available, check out the link below from the DC Taxicab Commission. There are 4 main cab companies that provide 24×7 service; just call one and schedule a pickup appointment.

No! Unless he is currently with the post office and can qualify for a job there. If you are talking about L’Enfant Plaza in DC, just forget it. They have enough Vice Presidents already. This friend would have to be a big shot already, to be even considered for a job there.
