If price isn’t an issue, I’d highly recommend Komi. Komi is the #1 restaurant in DC right now. You don’t get a menu, they bring you about 15 smaller courses. If you’re the adventurous foodie type, go here.

Question by Katie: Is there a restaurant in Washington DC that has dinner and dancing?
My boyfriend will just be getting back from Iraq and we’re meeting up in DC for a weekend. Are there any nice restaurants that require you to dress up and have a great atmosphere? I’m also looking for a place where prices aren’t out of this world…but I understand that fancy and pricey come hand in hand. Thanks a bunch!

Does anyone know what dates Restaurant Week will take place in Washington DC in August 2008? Or, perhaps you know when details will be made available about what restaurants will participate. I will be there from August 1 to 4th and would like to take advantage of the savings if possible. Any suggestions about what restaurants to try? Thanks

Suggest a restaurant in Singapore serving course meals?

Question by canisrufus: Suggest a restaurant in Singapore serving course meals?
Preferably reputable, maybe in a hotel.
Budget is below $ 50 per person, a bit more is fine.

Try the coffeeshop opposite Blk 18 Toa Payoh, Lorong 6. Dinner for 4 persons costs $ 55. 2 vege dishes, large prawns fried with oat flakes, 3 pepper crabs. Just order and ask them to serve one course at a time. Do not order any sambal belacan style dishes, they are for plebeians with shriveled tastebuds.

Question by jennifer: Is Moose’s Restaurant in San Francisco a good restaurant for Thanksgiving?
What about other top restaurants in downtown and union square…for thanksgiving or for afternoon tea? I’ve always heard of the Palace Hotel and The St. Francis, both for afternoon tea..which is better?
Best answer:
Answer by ajtheactress
I had a bad experince with a group at Mooses and thus don’t recommend it. Much less for Thanksgiving.
Tea at the Palace is sublime! The room is fantastic and the food tasty. I’ve done tea here with groups of women/family over the years and loved it.
