Question by Kickshaws: What to do in San Francisco on a Friday night?
My friends and I are going to SF on a Friday night for my birthday. We won’t get there until around 6pm, so museums and that are out. And we don’t want to go to any clubs or bars. We’ll be taking BART so we won’t be driving around the city. Some ideas I had were Ghiradelli Square, Union Square, Pier 39, and Fisherman’s Wharf. What do you suggest?

We are two couples just before their thirties and are planning a trip to New York this November. We are looking for a nice 4-5 Star Hotel around the center of Manhatten / where are these popular destinations are… any advice on a good hotel with fair pricing?
If you also have an advce for great clubbing around that area, we’d be very thankful…

I am heading the NY soon and want to plan some fun things to do at night. Besides seeing a broad way show or pub crawling/clubbing what are some things you would suggest are MUST DOs at night? Is there any particular restaraunt that you think we should defintiely try? ANy interesting art shows or other to try at night? (e.g., fuerta bruta I heard was awesome). My friend and I are in our early 20s and are not too big on clubbing. Anything else?

Walk around. Go to the Garidellie(sp) Square and get a HUGE sunday of some sort. Walk down to the beach before sunset and watch it go down. Go to the piers and hang out.
Oh and beware of bush man and don’t give him any money for scaring you. OR you can purposefully find him to scare your group and then you should pay him a few dollars. Its really funny.
