Question by : I need a really cheap flight to Taiwan from San Francisco?
I plan on going to school out in Taiwan for a little bit and it’s putting a pretty nice size dent in my wallet. I was wondering if anyone knew about any really cheap flights that could save me some cash???? Most flights to Taiwan are about $ 1100

It depends on when you plan to fly but I would check out China Airlines, United Airlines or Delta Airlines. Also visit http://www.kayak.com and go to an Asian travel agency and see if they can help you. They can sometimes get really good deals.

Can anybody tell me where i could possibly find it online? I’ve been searching all day. Need this by tomorrow :/

Two ways: 1) Go to The New York Times website and use the search engine to find the page. The Times, by the way, has front pages going back to when the paper was started in 1851. www.nyt.com
2) Large public libraries (and libraries at large universities) get The Times on microfilm. You could print out the page from the year you were born from the microfilm on file.

First off, i have booked ticket to Malaysia from 19 of this month for a month. I want to stay a week or two in malaysia and cover as much as i can and then move to Thailand and preferably stay 2 nights at Bngkok and a week or two in Chiang mai and then go to phuket for again may be 3 nights and then back to Singapore.
from sing i will have to enter malaysia for my intl flight.
Anyone who had a trip around this area, can suggest some ways to travel, places to see and getting around cheap?

Within Malaysia, you can visit Langkawi, Penang, Johor, or even fly to Sabah.

Suggestions, within Peninsular Malaysia, you can choose to take coach from KL to Penang, then visit Langkawi. After that, fly from Penang to Phuket via Firefly. From Phuket to Bangkok, you can choose to fly AirAsia, Bangkok Airways, Nok Air, One-Two-GO Airlines.
From Bangkok, fly Jetstar, Tiger, or AirAsia to Singapore. You can then fly the same airlines from Singapore to Sabah, Malaysia before heading back to KL to complete your trip.

There is no such thing as a cheap room in NYC. Even the disgusting hostels are over 100$ a night. And anything anything under 200$ is going to be quite nasty.
Relativley affordable hotels in NYC are the roosevelt, Helmsley hotels ( there are several), Fitzpatrick grandcetral. Check those out.

This thursday I need to been in Arlington Virginia(Just south of DC) by 9 am. I’ll be driving from Bucks County PA (about 40 minutes northeast of Philadelphia). If you have experience making that drive can you give me an idea of how bad the rush hour traffic should be.

Do not take I 95. Get on the PA turnpike to Harrisburg west exit. Taking the interstatesouth to I 695 south west of baltimore I have made this drive in 3 and a half to 4 hours.
