Hello, please answer my question without sarcasm.
ok so im 16 and 7 month, just got my license live in New york city, i will be getting a nissan maxima 97-98 a 100% when i can , can someone please tell me the estimate price that it will cost me to get it at 16, or if i wait till 17 even cause my parents say that no way in hell they can add me or let me use a car with their names =[
i have a job and am very dependent on myself , I also have a very high average if that will make insurance cheaper.
Please tell me what you think and price ranges per year, and dont show me those websites that i have to fill info in to get a report of price range as i tried a lot and they support me with info at all. thanks!!!

im not rich but 2500$ a year isnt actually too much, and 100 a year will be like 1200 a year?
is that the real price or not?
Ohhhh i will only be getting liability, but please tell me the avg price for liability or full…

At your age it will be expensive. Figure $ 100-$ 200 a month

Best to to check with a real travel agency where you live regarding renting a car as there are many variables that affect the price. Also find out if the rental agency requires an International Driving Permit, and ask about insurance options.
Note that some agencies do not offer one-way rentals, but one that does is:

You can also check the travel sites like Expedia & Orbitz, but you have to pay for the rental at the time you make the reservation.

Do people from New York act differently from people living in California? I live in CA, Sacramento, and am planning to move to New York, I heard it’s for the ‘young and bold’ where dreams can be made and broken.
Are people from New York ruder? What are they like? I don’t mind if New Yorkers are ruder, I just need to know so that I know what to expect and not take it personal. Thank you for your insight.

Depends on where you want to move to. If you mean the outer boro’s(Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens) your looking at anywhere from 600-900 for a studio and a 2 bedroom could be easly over 1000 a month.
In Manhattan, a studio can easily be 1,200 to 2,500 a month depending on what area you want to love in. and a two bedroom, wells lets just say you better get a really great job or a roommate.

Not in Manhattan.
Studio apartments often go for $ 1500/mo.
Your best bet would be to look in the outer boros… Bronx Brooklyn, Queens or staten Island, and look to rent a room in a private home.

I am vacationing to Washington DC, and would like to know how much money should I intend on spending on food, metro transportation, and museums? I know the museums are free but there might be locker rentals, etc. This estimate doesn’t need to include souvenirs.
Would $ 55.00 / day be adequate?
Any advice would be great!

I would say at least some where around $ 400, DC can be expensive since they know a lot of tourist are always there.
