Question by : I’m 16 years old and going to New York City for the first time. Suggestions?
So I’m visiting New York City over spring break this year with a friend but I thought I’d start my planning early. There’s so much to do that it’s kind of overwhelming. I’m really into fashion and stuff like that. I’m just looking to relax and have an amazing time. I want to do tourist stuff but also try a lot of different things. If anyone can suggest anything, that would be great! And is it too cold to wear little dresses in late March there?

Use http://www.viator.com/ to learn what to see in the 3 locations then customize the trip to your likes and dislikes.
Once in New York, you can use Bolt Bus for Philadelphia, PA and Greyhound for Washington, DC,
http://boltbus.com / http://greyhound.com
Tip:
1. Have a sweater handy as they crank up the AC sometimes on the buses.
2. See if landing at JFK (if you fly) then taking a bus is cheaper than flying to directly the DC & Philly area.

There is a NYC group of LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning) community. I am not gay, but a few of my friends are, and they are involved with this group. They perform musicals and educate people about the oppression of homosexuals. There’s a large age-range, and even if you don’t want to be involved in performances, you can still attend group meetings, or just become friends with a few people. The name of the group is Youth Pride Chorus.

Are the Occupy Wall Street Protesters going to join the Veterans March in Washington DC on 11/11/11?

Question by : Are the Occupy Wall Street Protesters going to join the Veterans March in Washington DC on 11/11/11?
It seems the veterans are joining in on the Occupy Washington and Occupy Wall Street.
Veterans are marching in Washington DC this Friday, 11/11/11 with many of the same stated goals as the Occupy Wall Street and the Occupy Washington and other Cities.
The US Veterans are going to ask for the Resignations of Obama, SoS Clinton and their whole clan for treason against the United States. Events begin at the Washington Monument at 6 am on Veteran’s Day 11/11/11.

My bf lives in Jacksonville NC, and we’re driving up to Washington DC and spending the night and touring the next day. What are the must-sees? Is there a website out there that will plan a little itinerary for me? Thanks!

Go to “the mall” area. You can view The Capital Building, The White House, The Washington Monument, The Lincoln Memorial, and even spend a little time in the Smithsonian. They are all within a 2-mile walk along the mall. No bus, no subway needed.

Question by HI!!: THe flight to Washington DC is 3 HOURS OMGGGG WHAT AM I going to do?????
Atleast its not 8-9 hours like it is when we drive to my grandparent’s house!! lol
But still…. you cant really be loud like me and my sister usually are sometimes on our car trips…
Its hard to sleep so tahts out of the question.
Me and my sister are 14 and 15 so waht can we do? We have our ipods, ds’s (but we cant use the wi fi, so it would be kinda boring unless we just played by ourselves…
Then we have a dvd player also, but what else can we bring?
What occupies yall on air plane rides? Cause doing nothing is pretty boringggggg!!!
because music and our ds’s get boring after an hour or so…
Hahah nice we did that once, they were alittle a head of us off to the side, and so we were watching the movie they were watching… it was great!
I have heard of twilight, my sister reads it, but I HATE READING
