I need a hotel in Singapore central from say 75 – 125 Singapore dollars?

Question by oops: I need a hotel in Singapore central from say 75 – 125 Singapore dollars?
im staying for 4-5 nights, and will do all the kids activities and sentosa, and visit the river and laupat sot at night.
In 2004 i stayed with a friend and worked out an area outside Little India but somewhere there only, where there is also LAU pAT SOT and near the cable car area for Sentosa would be a good location.
But thats not so important, anywhere near the river or central would be good so i save on taxi costs at night.
Im budgeting 75 to 125 singapore dollars, but would like it closer to 75. I want a clean nice hotel or apartment or small B&B OR guest stay, not too downmarket.
I hope ypu can suggest me something

In around Little India / Farrer Park you can get some good hotels within that budget. However, SG has good Public transportation (MRT) which is very conveniently available from both the above said locations and you dont have to spend on taxis because it’s pretty expensive.
You may try for Fortuna Inn and it is open for booking on the net.
Safe travels!

you can email to any of the hotels that you want to book with and inform them to book a room for you. Then you provide them with your credit card details as a guarantee to hold the room.

Hotel Grand Central – Is it really that BAD ?

Question by Naruto: Hotel Grand Central – Is it really that BAD ?
Everytime I come to Singapore, I always stay at Hotel Phoenix. But now that the hotel in under renovation, I’m looking for other hotels to stay around Orchard Road vicinity. I’m considering Hotel Grand Central because of its location, but according to tripadvisor reviews, Hotel Grand Central is the 2nd dirtiest hotel in Asia! Is is really that bad?

These are reviews by people who stayed there first-hand…better believe it. I’ve had the misfortune of attending a wedding there once and there were pillars everywhere so I couldn’t see the stage at all. And the muslim guests were placed in a table _outside_ the ballroom!
You’re better off staying at the brand new 3-star Hotel Ibis in Bencoolen Street. It’s part of the Accor group and their introductory rate is just S$ 148 before taxes. And it’s just minutes to Orchard Road.

Question by Jenna: Body Piercing in New York (near central park)…?
I’m visiting New York City soon and need to find a place to get my belly button pierced. I will be staying at the Wellington Hotel, 7th ave and 55th street, Manhatten. I need som place close because I will be low on time. I found one on 7th avenue, for example. That’s ideal. Can anyone help me find a place? I’ve only found one?

The best place to get piercings and tattoo are in the village. Just either the A B C D F or V train to West 4th Street. When you walk out of the subway you’ll be in front of the shops. The best time to go is this weekend because the weather is suppose to be very very nice is the upper 60′s and lower 70′s
good luck
