Several weeks ago I stayed at a place called… I think it was Van Ness motel or something like that.
It was on Van Ness and… can’t quite remember cross street.
fairly close to the wharf, it costed me around $ 75 total from what I recall
A basic hotel/motel around there should be $ 60+ per night. I went around asking. too expensive for me overall so that’s the only one near there that I stayed in

hOW IS deltas food? How is their legroom on international flights? I’ve never flown across the ocean before and am nervous…… Any suggestions would be great!

Answer by Deliciously N
Delta’s food, like all airline’s SUCKS. Seriously, buy food after security…it will all be junk but at least it’s edible.
There is no extra legroom in economy on international flights. Business is pretty nice. I’ve only flown first on Swiss, so I don’t know about Delta.
I think Dallas to NY is like 4 or 5 hours. NY to Spain is about 7.
Mostly try to sleep, bring your laptop and iPod, books, a cd player for when your laptop and iPod die, and buy food after security to eat. Plus try to eat on your layover if possible.

Questions about touring washington DC?
Posted by Mostafa Safavi in All about Washington D.C. on March 17th, 2012
Question by Heyyoyoyo: Questions about touring washington DC?
It says on the websites for various attractions that strollers, purses, backpacks, drinks, food, etc. aren’t permitted (the white house, for example) and that there are no storage facilities available.
So how the hey are ya supposed to work around THAT? I’m sure as heck not carrying my baby around all day without gear and loot!
Any advice??

Answer by dcgirl
Many of the tour bus services will take you to the various stops on a planned timetable, allowing ample time to have a tour through the attraction (but it’ll be a quick visit, not a leisurely one). They will let you leave strollers, backpacks etc on the bus. Many tourists travel with a minimum of personal items like wallet and cell phone in pockets or fanny-pack type pouches; leave metallic items like keys in the hotel room as many attractions have metal detectors.

Anyone know the laws in New York City about breaking an apartment lease? What are some of the legalities? Any good sites?
Upstairs apartment in Queens. It has bugs/mice but want to get out of lease for other reasons. ANyone know the legal avenues to take or can suggest any websotes? I would talk directly to landlord but she is unreasonable and I am pretty sure she would not let me out simply by asking. Thanks in advance for your responses

Here’s a good start:
http://tenant.net/Rent_Laws/index.html
I also live in NYC. I’ve never personally needed to break a lease, but friends of mine have (or have tried). From what I can tell, the building owner/landlord has more control than the tenant. Often times, because the market had gotten more expensive, the landlords were happy to break the lease of some because they knew they could get another tenant in right away who would pay 30% more.
I’ve also heard of landlords making it very difficult, despite market conditions.
Anyway, check out that list. It has some links that should get you the info you need.

Q&A: Question About Sports bikes and Insurance?
Posted by Mostafa Safavi in All about New York on February 24th, 2012
Question by : Question About Sports bikes and Insurance?
I’m a 16year old male, I’m turning 17 next year and I wanted to get a car or a sports bike. I wanted to get a sports bike because I’m not wealthy and have 4grand a year for insurance because im young. I wanted to know what kind of sports bike I should look for I want something pretty fast but not crazy so i kill myself and something cheap, I also wanted to know how much insurance would be in new york state for a 17yearold that gets a sports bike.
Best answer:
Answer by mbrcatz
It depends on the cc’s of the bike.
Keep in mind, the REASON bike insurance is cheap, compared to car insurance, is because a. you’re probably not carrying any coverage for you, or your medical bills and b. you’re not covering the bike itself, only the damage you do to cars, and c. you can’t do as much damage with a bike, and yes, you’re much more likely to kill yourself, than someone else. And you’re MUCH more likely to hurt yourself quite badly. So make darned sure you’ve got AMAZING health insurance.

About Korean entertainments.?

Question by : About Korean entertainments.?
Hello everyone, I have ,some questions about Korean entertainments. Anyway I’m a girl
1. I’m auditioning at age around 19, 20, 21. when jyp entertainment came Singapore for global audition, they wrote, audition are open for age 9-26 years old. Since they put that, means 19, 20, 21, 22. Shouldn’t be a problem right? Since nowadays more and more people are auditioning around 21 and Korean would be 22. Anyway can please recommend some entertainments does not care ages and accept Asians like singaporeans?
2. Since age was a little of problem, if my vocal was good and I know how to speak Korean fluently, does it helps?? Anyway I’m a Singaporean.
3. And do they accept a Singaporean?
4. Anyway do you guys think I should focus more on dancing or singing if going on audition?cause i think vocal is better, although dance was important too, but can tell me which would be more important to be accept easier?
5. As said earlier, I’m a Singaporean, my skin are fair, I’m tall around 169.5cm, I don’t know if I’m pretty not, but my friends and family said I’m very pretty.Since I have all that, does it helps me in my audition?
6. Can also anyone please tell me if which entertainments is easier for me to get in to be their trainee?
7. And I’m going to Korea personally to audition, but how much was the total money to go Korea from Singapore? I’m referring of air tickets. I’m going to go there for 3-6 months, so if like this plus my living at there and air tickets is how much? And does singaporeans need visa when go there? If need how do I apply visa? Or is don’t need how long can stay in Korea without visa? And going Korea just the air ticket, will it be over $ 2,000?
8. Anyway haha, this question was not link to the things I’m asking, but I really want to ask, if cheundung(thunder) from mblaq, what is he’s real ideal type? Does he mind ages? Like if younger them him by 5 years old will he mind? And does he mind other countries girls? Like the person wasn’t Korean was other countries.
Please answer! I’m really curious! Curiosity kills!
Thanks for all the answers, you will like help me damn lot!

1. I think all entertainments accept any ages. It all depends on your talent. Of course, the entertainment prefer their artist to be younger, since some fans like younger singers/idols. For me, the suitable age of an idol is the ages between 15-29.
2. Speaking korean fluently, chinese or english even japanese is a help if you want to be in the entertainment industry. You can see nowadays, idols like bigbang, superjunior, shinee, 2pm is learning japanese, chinese, english because they need to communicate with their fans or people from other countries. Speaking korean is definitely a great help if you are not korean.
3. Of course. I think there was this competition from TvN where they search for kpop trainees and there was two singaporeans in the finals. Nationality is not a problem. It is depend on your talent.
4.I think focusing on both singing and dancing is important. They look out for great dancers and singers. If you succeed in both, the higher change you have in making it famous.
5. You are tall!
I think it really helps! Fair skin, tall, and pretty is three great factors. You dont have to worry about your looks.
6. JYP? there are also other entertainments… CUBE? Woolim? YG is hard…. YG look for the talent and really great singers and dancers. They are high in standards in choosing trainees if you ask me.
If i became a trainee in YG i will not believe it!
7.for the ticket it’ll be $ 2000 plus but for living expenses im not too sure.
8.Haha, im not too sure. Not a fan of MBLAQ! Sorry!
