in the month of august. just an estimated guess?

202.00 (United Airlines) — 279.00 (Delta) this is a 1 week roundtrip flight from Baltimore to Miami
135.000 — 183.00; if flying to FT. Lauderdale
*rule of thumb, always book a flight on a Tues/Wed if you can. The prices of tickets are generally cheaper because of low traffic volume and its the middle of the week; most often more business people are traveling at this time so the wait is minimal at best.
Hope this helps

Q&A: I want to ask some questions about rent a car, please help me out?

Question by Ting: I want to ask some questions about rent a car, please help me out?
I live in San Francisco. I’m a resident of America. My boyfriend is an exchange student (F1) who ‘s studying Alabama now. We are 21 years old. I have the driver’s license, but he just have the learner. He will come to S.F. on Oct. . We want to rent a car for 9 or 10 days. I got some questions when I was filling out the information .
1)Should we need to pay the age surcharge of USD/20.00 per day? If yes, please tell me which rental car palce of S.F. don’t need to pay this fee. Or, can I ask for another person who’s age above 25 by his informations and driver’s license to pick up the car for me?
2) What should I bring to the rental place when I pick up the car.
3)Should I need to add rental car damage protector ? Is that necessary?
4) Should I need to pay the insurance on this car?
Thank you very much~~~

If you are under 25 you will have to pay the age surcharge with any car rental company. Also the car can only be driven by the person renting it no matter what age you are. When you pick the car up you must have a picture ID of the person renting the car and it must look like and be the person renting the car otherwise you will not be allowed to take possession of the vehicle. It would be wise to take out the insurance on the vehicle because you are responsible for any damages to the car. Any of the rental car website can give you the info you need or just call and they will tell you what is needed. Good luck.

Q&A: About to take a vacation to Washington, DC?

Question by tekhnolyze – das para: About to take a vacation to Washington, DC?
Dates are going to be 21-24 August, with a budget of about 1000 dollars (plane ticket already purchased), for one person (myself). I’m in the US Army and so will probably have discounted or free access to museums or whatever. I’ll be on foot the whole time, taking a subway or bus wherever I go.
My question is, will 1000 dollars get me a decent hotel for my stay (nothing particularly fancy, as long as its clean), and be enough to get around for an enjoyable long weekend?
I mainly want to visit art museums and war monuments, and just blow some cash on fun stuff.

Hotels in DC are VERY expensive. I would stay in alexandria or arlington which is a little cheaper and very close, especially when taking the metro into DC. As far as museums and monuments, most are free. You will find a couple of museums that are pay but most are not. Defiantly take advantage of the Metro. A thousand dollars is cutting it close especially if you don’t have a hotel yet. Good Luck.

Heading up north to see the giant sequoias is definitely worth the trip! (Though I”m not sure if it’s in your time range) Some of these old growth trees are as big around as an SUV and as tall as most skyscrapers.

Question by : A question about GameWorks on the Strip in Las Vegas?
I hear that GameWorks is closing, and moving to a different location in Vegas. Do you happen to have any guess of where they are moving to? Will the hotels like New York New York still retain their arcade rooms, and that awesome roller coaster? I went to GameWorks every time I went to Vegas, and it was awesome. It’s such a sad story of it closing.

sorry.. this isn’t an answer. You responded to one of my previous questions about whether or not I would be able to find a job in San Fran. Since we both have the same short term goal in mind, do you think I could get your e-mail and we can share our research knowledge to help each other out on our moves? I think it could be beneficial for both of us. My e-mail is bob_barker32133@yahoo.com if you would like to contact me. If not, thats cool to. Again, sorry to dissapoint you if you thought you had a good answer for your question.

Go to one of these 3 cities: Philadelphia, New York City, Boston. There is a lot to do in all these place, but be aware, NYC isn’t very friendly and it smells weird everywhere you go. I would definitely go to Boston.

Several weeks ago I stayed at a place called… I think it was Van Ness motel or something like that.
It was on Van Ness and… can’t quite remember cross street.
fairly close to the wharf, it costed me around $ 75 total from what I recall
A basic hotel/motel around there should be $ 60+ per night. I went around asking. too expensive for me overall so that’s the only one near there that I stayed in
