Question by Alexandra L: How to rent a great apartment in San Francisco in Mission/Noe Valley ?

Answer by SoCal Realtor
Realtors do leases too so if you are trying to rent out an apartment connect with a local realtor who can place it on the multiple listing service. That way all realtors in your area will have access to viewing it and finding a renter. Now, if you are looking to rent an apartment, have a realtor help you find one through the multiple listing service. Fee’s are worked into the deal but they aren’t that much. Hope this helps.

Question by amyrdh: san francisco bay cruise…?
we are taking a tour of alcatraz. is there a need to do one of the san francisco bays tours that are offered or is the boat ride out to the rock sufficient?
Best answer:
Answer by tonalc1
You can just take the boat out to Alcatraz. The bay tours are different. They’re nice, but take a while, and if you’re prone to seasickness, could be bothersome.

Rent for an apartment in San Francisco?

: Rent for an apartment in San Francisco?
I want to go to city college of san francisco, how much is an okay apartment there. how much do you think a college student can afford a month? what are some websites i could look at?
Best answer:
Answer by capwest5a
San Francisco is one of the most expensive cities to live in. Figure on maybe around $ 700+ rent per month for even a small apartment. Don’t forget about all the other bills too, like utilities, food, household items, and such.
San Francisco has a higher unemployment rate than the general US rate.
(S.F. = 10.5%, USA = 9.6%). So it’s going to be tough to find a job there. Plus, you’re going to be atttending college, so that cuts into your available work hours/schedule, reducing your chances of getting hired.

Answer by TomL
Well you will have to probably connect either in Chicago or NYC to get a non stop flight to Warsaw on LOT Polish Airline or then in a major airport in europe like LHR, FRA, AMS, CDG.
From SFO to CHI/NYC is 4hrs/6hrs respectively then from CHI/NYC to WAW is 9 to 10 hours.
That is time in the air minus the 1 to 2 hour atleast for connecting.
You can look at a travel time of 16 to 20 hours total.
Just a tip – I hear that LOT is not that great. Your probably better off flying British Airways via London (LHR) or Lufthansa via Frankfurt (FRA)
